Two years ago I made the decision to move down to California to work with a team I considered at the forefront of game development; not just in animation but interactive storytelling as a whole, and today we finally set our work out into the wild.

Uncharted 4 released worldwide today to a resoundingly positive reception, (gaining a 93% metacritic score), with my contribution primarily spent previs-ing, prototyping, mocap-directing and assembling a significant number of the interactive actions scenes before handing over to the animation team – focussing on the more open stages of the latter part of the game.

We’re just getting started with this self-styled “wide-linear approach to storytelling and I can’t be more excited for what we’re going to be able to produce in the future.
